Como se divertian!

Para la clase de lengua leimos el libro "como se divertian" y a partir de este cuento hacer un invento. Esta impresora imprime comida cada vez que tengas hambre, cuando quieras y donde quieras. El sistema se controla desde una computadora, ya que se busca desde ella una foto de la comida y en vez de imprimirse en papel se imprime real para que lo comas. La máquina está compuesta por una impresora 3D, un horno, una computadora, una mini heladera y los ingredientes secretos.

El otro día vino mi amiga a mi casa y tenia hambre.

-¡Tengo mucha hambre! ¿Me das algo para comer?- me pidió

-si claro. Elegí lo que querés comer en la computadora-

Focalizacion: La aldea

En la clase de lengua estamos estudiando los tipos de focalización. Para ponerlo en práctica, en grupos, usamos la película La Aldea, elgimos dos escenas donde hubiera dos tipos distintos de focalización. Estas son nuestras escenas:

En este video la focalizacion es interna porque se muestra lo que el personaje (Ivy) estaria viendo, Ivy en realidad es ciega, la camara muestra lo que veria si podria ver, osea desde su punto de vista.

Writing a short story

In the class we were asked to write a story so as to show the theory we learnt. We were asked to use and underline:

• Five connectors
• Three sequence markers (first, then...)
• Two examples of direct speech

Mark couldn't believe his good luck, After two years of waiting he obtained the scholarship abroad he always wanted. What's more his father agreed to pay for the plane he had to take to get there, he was leaving the following day.

-Are you sure this is what you want for your life?- his father told him -Be away from your family?-

Mark was very sure, however, he was obviously going to miss his family. After telling his parents, he started to pack all the things he was going to need, even though most of the things were just books, then he had a shower. Finally he had dinner with his parents, during dinner they spoke about Mark's trip.
-We are going to miss you Mark. We really wish you have a nice time- Said his mother almost crying.
Mark spent the whole dinner trying to calm down his mother, however this was imposible.
The following day he woke up very early to catch the plane. He went to the airport with his parents, who were almost crying, Especially when he got on the plane and the plane started. When he landed, Mark couldn't stop thinking about his family and friend who were far away.

IKEA NIXES MASSIVE HIDE AND SEEK GAMES AT DUTCH STORES

THE HAGUE NETHERLANDS-Ikea has a message for people wanting to converge on it's stores for giant games of hide and seek: Go play someplace else.

The phenomenon has taken off online in the Netherlands where a whopping 19.000 people signed up to a facebook group promoting a game at Ikea's Amsterdam branch next month. Another 13.000 signed up for a game in the Ikea store in the city of Utrecht.

But the Swedish retail giant has bad news for folks wanting to hide amont it's room-like furniture displays: The numbers signing are getting out of hand and the events have been blocked.

"We have contacted these pages on social media and humbly asked them to have their hide and seek games somewhere else," Ikea spokeswoman Martina Smedberg in Sweden said Tuesday.

Ikea doesn't want to be a spoilsport but safetu comes first.

"In general we are happy that our customers are playful and want to have fun together with friends and family," Smerdberg said. "But unfortunately this hide and seek phenomenon has reached proportions where we can no longer guarantee the security of those who are playing or our customers and employees"


SUMMARY
Ikea denyed massive hide and seek game at their Netherlands store to people who signed at a facebook page because the number signing up, 19.000 people at Amsterdam and 13.000 at Ultrech, where getting out of hand. Ikea spokeswoman contacted the pages on social media and humbly asked to have their hide and seek somewhere else, she also said that they are happy that their cutumers are playful but there was so much people that they couldn't guarantee the security of those who are playing, their customers and employees.

In the class of L/L writing we learnt how to write a literary essay and after doing some activities we wrote one based on the theory we had about "The strange case of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Literary essay: "the strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde"

The story "The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson, talks about the life of Henry Jekyll, a scientist, who believes that human has a double personality and to prove his point of view he creates a potion to separate them. As a result he turns into his evil side, Mr. Hyde, who takes him to his death. This essay will explain what Jekyll's house and laboratory and Hyde's physical appearance symbolises.

In the book, Jekyll's house and laboratory are related with Jekyll and Hyde. Jekyll's house, which is well-appointed and it says it has "a great air of wealth and comfort", represents Jekyll because Jekyll is neat and his house is perfectly tidy. His laboratory, described as "a certain sinister block of building", represents Jekyll bad side, Hyde, because Hyde as the laboratory he is ugly, disrupted, and unclean, and there is a connection between both buildings that symbolises the connection Jekyll and Hyde have as they are the same person.

Hyde's physical appearance, ugly, deformed, small, shrunken and hairy represents something. "I never saw a man I so disliked [...] He gives a strong feeling of deformity" said utterson, his ugliness and deformity symbolises his lack of moral and ethics, his small stature represents that he, as Jekyll's bad side, has been repressed from growing for many years, and his hairiness symbolises his animal instinct and the fact that he is immoral, he commits crimes because he enjoys it.

As a conclusion,jekyll's house symbolizes Jekyll and his laboratory simbolized hyde, the connection between the house and the laboratory symbolizes the connection Jekyll and Hyde have, and Hyde's physical appearance symbolizes different things about his personality, we think this book tought us we do not have to try to be what we are not and that things are not always what we think they are, things are not always going to happen as we think, things can go wrong or change.

Girl wins international race

Six hours ago,  a 15 year-old  south american girl won the first place at an international 250m race. She was given a prize in Peru. She was there with her family, and she was given the award by a representative from London.

Juana has been a runner since she was 10 years old. She loves doing it. She won a smaller prize when she was 12 years old in Peru in a place near her house. Apart from that, she was given another prize in Brazil when she was 14 years old.

his last race she ran was the most important one for her. It took place in London. She travelled to London with her parents in July so as to start training, and she returned with the trophy last october.

“I am so proud of my Little girl. I think she is going to become a very well known runner” said Laura, Juana´s mother last Saturday. The start of this international race also made some comments. “I am so excited, I never believed I was going to be the winner”.

Tuvimos que elegir el trabajo de un compañero, que representara lo contrario al nuestro y imaginamos una historia corta a partir de ese dibujo, para después representarla con figuras geométricas planas pero con recortes de revistas,  esta es mi historia:

Habia una vez un circulo grande y de colores que vivia en una sociedad de formas correctas. Un día el circulo se decidió a ayudar a un cuadrado correcto y lo convirtió en un cuadrado alegre y colorido.

COMPOSICIÓN ABSTRACTA REPRESENTANDO PALABRAS

En este trabajo teniamos que representar la palabra anterior pero de forma abstracta, mi palabra era alegria.

VISITA AL MACBA

El viernes 16 de mayo los de 2do newlands visitamos el museo MACBA (Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Buenos Aires) donde había una muestra de Fabian Burgos llamada instante eterno. En el museo nos recibieron y guiaron dos chicas muy amables que nos hicieron participar, expresarnos y divertirnos viendo las entretenidas pinturas con efectos visuales.

Luego de recorrer ese maravilloso museo, fuimos al parque Lezama, recorrimos una parte del parte y nos sentamos a almorzar. Mas tarde fuimos a lo juegos del parque, nos divertimos y pasamos un buen rato, entonces nos tuvimos que ir y recorrimos la otra parte del parque.

Después de todo ese recorrido hermoso fuimos al Museo Etnográfico donde había objetos antiguos de Europa, Asia, América, África y Oceanía. Este recorrido no nos gusto tanto como los otros dos pero la verdad que los guías que nos guiaron eran muy expresivos y por eso pudimos entender todo. Para nosotras esto fue una experiencia muy linda.

POESÍA VISUAL GRUPAL / INTERVENCIÓN EN EL ESPACIO

Para una clase nos juntamos en grupos y cada uno tenia que traer escrita una poesía, juntamos todas las poesías y creamos una nueva que representamos con figuras geométricas interviniendo alguna parte del colegio. Con mi grupo elegimos la entrada, esta es nuestra poesía y nuestra intervención:

25 AÑOS DEL COLEGIO

Este año hicimos algo especial para la muestra de arte, por los 25 años que cumple el colegio. Nosotros escribimos una poesía representando lo que aprendimos estos años en el colegio. Esta es nuestra poesía:

Aún sigo teñido/a de colores
si apostamos por el cariño y la sinceridad
encontraremos el amor y la amistad,
construyendo felicidad.
con una cucharita de esperanza,
liberarás tu confianza
colores somos que brillan y crecen
en la mente libremente

Representamos la poesía con cuadrados de distintos tamaños, hechos con los colores del colegio (azul, verde y blanco) que formaban un circulo. En el centro pusimos una "A" por AMISTAD.

The disappearance

In the class of L/L writing we learnt how to write a short story, after making some activities we had to write a short story that ficished with the phrase, "That was the last time I saw him/her" This is my short story:

The disappearance

He is sitting there in the same cramped chair, waiting the same gorgeous girl appeared. As the last time. He is sitting there. Now he is 16, he is older, now he looks filthy, he needs to have a good bath. Totally not as the last time. His hair is shabby, but he looks charming. He is looking at the floor, depressed, he knows why he is there, but not what is going to happen.

Surprisingly a door, which definitely wasn’t there before, opens and lights the room. He wishes he could cover his eyes, but he can’t because he is tied to the chair. A tall, peaceful man enters the room through the recently opened door.

“Hello, George. You are here because we know you, we know what you were going to do”. Explained the man.

“But wh…”.Tried to say George

“Please don´t interrupt and let me finish”. Continued the man “ I am Alexander I think you know me”. George looked at Alexander.

“Yes I know you”. George whispered, Alexander couldn’t hear him “we took you here, to our special room, as the last time, because we need you , George, to tell us something important, something important, something nobody, except for you knows. You know what we are talking about, don’t you? ”. Said Alexander

Alexander took a gun and pointed at George “George! I’m not playing. Tell me now where they are! It’s not a joke. Tell me!”

“Alexander please understand. I also want to know where they are and if they are alive but I don’t know, I’m not lying. We were looking for the man that robbed the bank with costumes in the street when someone came and captured them but, I don’t know why, they left me alone. I couldn’t do anything to save them. They were too fast. I waited for two hour for someone to appear but nobody came. I am telling the truth” replied George.

“Are you sure this is the truth? If I ever discover that you are lying to me, I am going to kill you and all your new friends. As the last time”. Said Alexander

“You won’t have to do it. That was the last time I ever saw them”

La venganza

En la clase de lengua leímos varios cuentos cortos escritos por Horacio Quiroga, estudiamos las características de sus cuentos y parte de su biografía. después, de a dos, teníamos que escribir un cuento que trate sobre un caso psicopatológico, un caso donde la naturaleza vence a la ciencia o un caso dónde se mezcle lo humano y lo animal. nosotras ,con Maite, elegimos escribir sobre un caso psicopatológico, este es nuestro cuento:

La venganza

El plan es perfecto. No puede fallar. Es perfecto. Todos tenemos un objetivo, el mío es asesinar al presidente, Leopoldo Fortunato. Todo mi pueblo, todos mis amigos me van a amar. Sobre todo mi hija. Mi hija. Clara. Lo único que me frena es no sobrevivir. Clara. A veces pienso que va a sentir orgullo por lo que hice. Liberar al pueblo. Y eso me saca adelante. Pero también está mi esposa Sara. Pobre Sara. No puedo creer lo que hice. Cuando, después de un año, llegue a casa. Casi sin  marcas en mi cuerpo. No puedo creer lo que hice. Entré. No podía creer que ya había llegado. Apenas vi la oscuridad, un recuerdo llegó a mí.

Estaba yo. Sentado. En la esquina de un cuarto oscuro. Había estado ahí mucho tiempo. Lo sabía. Mis ojos ya se habían acostumbrado a la poca luz. Pude abrir la puerta. Con ayuda de una ganzúa que estaba en una madera que cubría una chimenea a mi lado. Apenas la abrí había…

-¡Papi, papi!- Era mi hija Clara. Hacía casi dos años que no la veía. El recuerdo desapareció.

-Al fin llegaste, Tobías- Era mi esposa - ¡Te extrañé tanto! –

Vinieron directamente a abrazarme. Ya no las quería dejar nunca más. Nunca les conté lo que pasó. Entramos a comer la cena. Cuando Clara dejó la habitación, no sé qué pasó. Sara me clavó la mirada. No sé por qué. Cómo si me odiara. ¿Por qué será? No entiendo ¿Por qué las dejé? ¿No saben que me obligaron? Yo no quise ir. Si no iba las mataban ¿Qué no entienden? Dejé todo por ellas. Sacrifiqué mi vida ¡hasta tuve que beber mi propia orina para no morir! Se los prometí. Prometí que iba a volver. No las podía defraudar.

Dejé pasar todo. Dejé mi furia dentro. No me quería pelear.

Fuimos a dormir

Tuve muchas pesadillas. Creo que fueron malos recuerdos. Era yo. Estaba en la guerra. Justo cuando estaba luchando. Mire a un costado para ver a mis compañeros. José, como un suicida, había cruzado a golpear a un inglés que lo había amenazado. Aparecieron dos más. Decidí ayudarlo. No sé por qué. Cuando estaba llegando me tropecé y caí. Cuando quise mirar al frente ya no había nada. Todo se apagó. No podía respirar. Estaba asfixiado.

-¡Tobías!- Quedé sorprendido. Cuando miré a Sara su cuerpo tenía varios moretones por todos lados. No me podía mover. Salté de la cama y la quise abrazar para contenerla ero ella no me dejó. Le pregunté qué pasó, quién había sido. Lo iba a matar

- Fuiste vos- quede paralizado – cuando dormíamos, vos me agarrabas fuerte y no me soltabas, pedias ayuda. Era cómo que no podías respirar. Quise ayudarte pero no me dejabas y me dejaste estos moretones. Me da miedo. No sé qué pasó. Pero por favor ten cuidado con lo que le haces a Clara –

Eso era demasiado ¿amenazarme? Llego a casa después de haber sufrido terribles cosas y lo único que hace es amenazarme con mi dulce hija Clara. ¿Qué tiene contra mí? ¿No se dio cuenta de que yo no controlo eso? Y lo peor fue cuando estábamos jugando, yo y mi hija, Clara había traído, súper contenta, a sus muñecas. Apenas empezamos a jugar vino la celosa de Sara y le dijo a mi dulce Clara que se tenía que ir a bañar ¡falsa! ¡Celosa! Solo quiere sacármela, Clara es lo único que tengo y nadie me la va a sacar, y menos mi esposa, solo porque estaba jugando conmigo y no con ella ¿Qué no sabe qué hace dos años que no la veo?

Apenas dejaron la habitación decidí hacer el plan. Estaba decidido a vengarme por todos del gobierno. Qué no había hecho nada por mí y todos mis compañeros cuando nos secuestraron. De a poco fue tomando forma en mi mente. El plan era este. Me invitaron a participar de un programa de televisión, ya que yo era uno de los pocos sobrevivientes, dónde va a estar el presidente. Me voy a presentar y con solo apretar un botón todo va a explotar. Él, yo y muchas personas más van a caer. Pero eso no me detenía. No me importaba sacrificarme y sacrificarlos por venganza. Con qué él muera era suficiente.

Ahora estoy acá. En el medio del programa, esperando, ansioso, decidido a apretar el botón. Está hablando el presidente, yo estoy por apretar el botón. Alto. Suena mi celular, es mi esposa, Sara.

-¿Qué pasa Sara?-

-¿Papi?, vas a volver ¿no?- ¡Es Clara!

-Claro que si Clara – No sé qué decir

- Prométemelo-

No puedo decir que no –Lo prometo –

Estoy llorando.

Review: The lion king

The lion king is a very interesting film, directed by Rob Minkoff and Roger Allers, and was influenced by the play Hamlet. The story takes place in Africa, and tells the story of Simba, a young lion, who learns about "The circle of life".

Simba is going to be the next king, but his jealous uncle, Scar, who wants to be the next king and get rid of Simba and his father, Mufasa. With his childhood friend, Nala, Timon, a suricate, and Puma, a warthog (wild pig from Africa), Simba has to recover his throne and defeat Scar.

It is a moving story, full of happy and sad moments. It is a very goos idea to watch it in family. It is not a deppressing story, and Timon and Pumba give the story a funny atmosphere.

Don´t miss it. I really recomend it. It is woth seeing it!

Summary: The lion king

Simba is a little lion that will have to become king after his father, Mufasa. He spends his days playing with his friend, Nala. His father teaches him about "The circle of life and how to become a good king. Mufasa has a brother, Scar, who wants to be the king, so he has to make Simba and Mufasa dissappear, for this reason, he takes Simba, with the help of his hyena friends Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, into a path where a stampede kills Mufasa while trying to save his son. After that he is responsible for the death of his father so he goes into exile. There he meets Timos and Pumba. They adopt their "Hakuna Matata" (no worries) attitude. Simba grows and turns into an adult. One day, a beautiful young lioness, who is his cildhood friend, Nala, tells him that Scar is the king and that they are suffering. With the help of Rafiki, a monkey, Simba realizes that he has to go and claim that he is the king. He fights against Scar and recovers his throne.

En la clase de físico química estamos trabajando con la tabla periódica, hicimos una lista de los elementos que conocemos y después cada uno tenía que elegir un elemento y hacer una presentación con información como ¿cuándo se descubrió y quién lo descubrió? Características: ¿tiene color?, ¿en que estado se encuentra? Propiedades: ¿se oxida? ¿brilla? o ¿en dónde se encuentra? y ¿para qué se usa?

TP historia

En historia estudiamos los feudos en la edad media, luego nos agrupamos y realizamos un trabajo práctico sobre el feudalismo.

1. Utilizando cartografia especifica localizá a tu feudo y dibujarlo.

2. Busca información sobre la heráldica y elabora el estandarte para tu propio feudo.

3. Describe los objetivos principales de la cruzadas y realiza un cuadro comparativo en el que expliques las causas, consecuencias y fechas de cada una de las cruzadas.

2. La heráldica es explicar y describir los escudos de armas de cada linaje, ciudad o persona, recientemente fue admitido dentro de las ciencias anexas de la historia.

En nuestro escudo se encuentra el Trisquel ya que nuestro feudo esta en continua evolución y aprendizaje. Luego esta el espiral doble que representa la dualidad entre dos cosas, fenómenos, etc. Nuestro feudo representa la dualidad entre la pobreza y la riqueza, el símbolo celta Auen representa la armonía entre los opuestos, en nuestro feudo la pobreza y la riqueza. En nuestro caso la cruz solar representa en sol en el sentido que que gracias a el crecen nuestros cultivos y nos mantiene vivos. Por último la cruz celta es símbolo de protección, privilegio e inteligencia, pero también representa nuestra fe en el cristianismo y nuestra esperanza. Utilizamos el color rojo por que representa la destreza militar y la grandeza de espíritu.

Creating a character

In drama I was asked to create a character and give him/her voice so I wrote a monologue. This is me delivering the monologue:

I don´t know how this happned, I fainted and when I woke up I was this horrible rat. Now I know how the people I bother feel. This is because I lost my mother and I felt so bad that I wanted everyone to feel how I did. I felt as if I was the best but now I see I'm not.  Nobody wants me, everyone wants to kill me. I have lost my job and all the money I had, i'm poor, I don't have anything to eat or drink, even my father wants to kill me and now I have a disgusting smell. I don't want to be like this I want to turn back to my old normal life. But now that i think, if I could become a human, I won't be bad with people. I won't hurt anyone, but I can't and I'm so sad.

Intervencion

En la clase de lengua junto con la de arte, hicimos en grupos intervenciones en el patio del colegio y les sacamos fotos. Luego para la clase de lengua nos sacamos una foto y usamos las imagenes de las intervenciones como si fuera nuestro cuerpo

el día 16 de mayo los chicos de 2do fuimos a el museo macba, luego de esta visita elegimos un artista con un compañero de grupo, nosotras elegimos a Roberto Scafidi y tuvimos que hacer una biografía de esta persona, elegir 3 obras hechas por el artista y hacer una poesía con lo que sentiamos con las obras. con esta poesía tuvimos que hacer un video usando las obras y grabarnos diciendo la poesia. De poesia a intervencion

Para la clase de lengua, junto con la de arte tuvimos que escribir una poesia cada uno basada en unos dibujos que habiamos hecho en grupos y las unimos en una sola. Hicimos un dibujo que representara nuestro poema. Despues recortamos las figuras necesarias y las pegamos en distintas partes del colegio. Esta es la mia:

discovering a new place

In the class of Language through literature writing we learnt how to write a description of a place, we had to choose a place that we liked and write a description.

Italy is a peninsula located at the south of a Mediterranean Sea in Europe. Its capital is Rome. It has the fourth largest population of Europe with 60.0 people living there, and the climate is usually sunny.

Among all the beautiful and historical places that you can visit, the ones that I like the most are The Colosseum and the Tower of Pisa although nowadays you can`t enter to any of the two. I would also like to visit the Vatican where the Pope lives.

The only bad point of going to Italy is that as many people visit it you will have to wake up early if you want to avoid lines, especially if you go in April, mid July, September or October that is the season when most tourists decide to visits Italy.

Apart from the Colosseum, the Tower of Pisa and all the historical places that you can visit Italy is also a very good place for shopping for example Florence is a well known place because of fashion designers, and gold. To buy good gifts you can go to the artisan shops in Perugia.

As a conclusion, Italy is a very good place to shop, learn about some history and have a nice time.

la salud y las necesidades básicas

La Salud es un estado de equilibrio que puede ser visto a nivel subjetivo o a nivel. objetivo . El término salud es lo contrario a  enfermedad . Para que una persona pueda tener una buena salud, tiene que satisfacer sus necesidades básicas. Pero para poder realizar esto y satisfacerlas de manera justa es necesario estar en un ambiente saludable, debido a que los satisfactores se encuentran en el ambiente que nos rodea. Por eso, es muy necesario cuidar el ambiente donde vivimos. No debemos contaminarlo o realizar acciones que lo perjudiquen.

Opinion de Cate y Vitti:Elegimos esta cancion debido a que hay una serie de televisión llamada "ALIADOS" que es muy importante para nosotras porque da una enseñansa reflexiva. Y esta cancion es la principal.

Opinion de Mia: Elegimos esta canción porque Cate y Vitti la querian. A mi me parece buena la canción pero la serie no me gusta.
